Centennial School Board


The Centennial School Board welcomes you to its meetings. As a representative body, the board aims to be responsive to the Centennial community while working to meet the educational needs of students in the district.

A school board meeting is an assembly of the members open to the public. The Minnesota Open Meeting Law prevents the board from taking any action on behalf of the district in a closed meeting, except when permitted by statute.

Board agendas are posted on the district website. The agenda includes time for public comment. Please feel free to visit with board members before the meeting begins.

Board Members

Centennial School District is governed by a six-member board elected at large from the five communities of Blaine, Centerville, Circle Pines, Lexington and Lino Lakes. Board members serve staggered four-year terms: chair, vice chair, treasurer, clerk and two directors. The superintendent is an ex-officio member of the board having no vote.

School Board meetings are typically held on the third Monday of each month
in the District Office Board Room at 6:30 p.m.
Work Study Sessions are held in the District Office Conference Room at 5:30 p.m.
Agendas are posted on the district website the Thursday before the meeting date.
