Tips for Parents:
We want your child’s learning
experience in the FACS units to be positive, productive and fun.
Your help in these areas can help in this process:
- Ask your child
who their current FACS teacher is, and then contact the correct
FACS teacher with questions or concerns. Please include
child’s name and grade in your message.
- Check the
parent portal often.
- Be aware of
the current expectations and unit your child is in.
- To ensure
success, please identify academic, social and/or emotional
concerns. (For example: does your child perform better if seated
up front.)
- Please give as
much notification as possible pertaining to any and all absences.
- Have your
child practice/discuss at home what they have learned at school.
Ask if the curriculum has helped them in their everyday
experiences.
