6th Grade Investigations
The focus of 6th grade investigations is in incorporate a hands-on (experiential) approach to science through the emphasis of geography, life science and physical science. During this nine week course, students will learn the processes of engineering by designing, building, testing and utilizing structures. Students will also study forestry and will be introduced to GPS technologies and many forestry research techniques.

7th Grade Investigations
In an effort to encourage students to be physically active and come to a closer understanding of science, social studies and the great outdoors, the focus of the 7th grade Investigations class is on cold weather activities. During this nine week course, students will participate in a variety of science investigations and outdoor recreation activities. This course will emphasize the benefits of teamwork and the inquiry process to find solutions to problems and challenges posed to a small group in an outdoor setting.
